Today, the TERRE DI HOROS are produced and distributed worldwide thanks to the vision of two Italian entrepreneurs who chose to use exclusively Italian raw materials, entirely processed in Italy, to create a product of the highest excellence for the most discerning palates.
For the production of TERRE DI HOROS, we selected the finest Taggiasca olives, cultivated using ancient methods and harvested by hand. The details of the production process remain a closely guarded secret. The entire process, from aromatic brining to aging and smoking with olive wood, takes a minimum of 12 months and can extend up to 38 months for the most extreme aging. For these reasons, the availability of TERRE DI HOROS is limited, and the small bottles can only be purchased by reservation.
Irene and Sauro, passionate about olive cultivation and the production of extra virgin olive oil from their own lands, combine their experiences and creativity to create unique food lands made with selected olive pulp, subjected to long processing and handmade procedures. They decided to join forces to spread the knowledge and use of this extraordinary product. Thus, the "TERRE DI HOROS" were born, a product aimed at the distinctly luxury foreign markets.
TERRE DI HOROS originate from a meticulous artisanal process that highlights the excellence of Taggiasca olives, the most precious in the world. These hand-picked olives are immersed in successive brines, each enriched with a secret blend of local herbs, for a total duration of over 12 months. After all the marination processes are completed, the flavored olives are finely ground and dried, followed by traditional smoking using the wood of the same olive trees that produced them. Finally, the product is enriched with the addition of 23-karat edible gold flakes.
